Atlantic Catering & Logistics convened a staff engagement session aimed at enhancing employee welfare and professional growth. The event, held at the company’s headquarters in East Legon on February 29, 2024, brought together the offshore crew from MV21 and MV25.

The session offered a platform for dialogue, presentations and a reaffirmation of the company’s commitment to its workforce. Representatives from Axis Pension Trust shared insights on retirement savings strategies. Topics covered included financial planning, qualification criteria for retirement benefits and investment approaches.

Senior representatives from the Social Security and National Investment Trust (SSNIT) also delivered on the topic, “preparing for retirement pensions.” Delving into SSNIT’s operations, the presentation offered insights into Tier 1 savings and investment calculation methodologies.

Additionally, the Communications and Financial departments presented on the core pillars of Atlantic Catering & Logistics’ 2024 wellness initiative. Pillar 1 and 2 emphasizing mental health awareness and financial wellness, respectively.

Mr. Jeffrey Gamrat, the Executive Director, emphasized the organization’s dedication to nurturing employee well-being and fostering professional development. He encouraged attendees to engage, voice concerns and share ideas to promote transparency and collaboration.

Further reinforcing the company’s commitment to excellence, the Quality & Remote Site Director emphasized upholding quality and safety standards. Employees were urged to adhere to the company’s hygiene and safety protocols to ensure a conducive work environment devoid of incidents and accidents.

The session concluded, fostering camaraderie, knowledge-sharing and a renewed sense of purpose among participants. Atlantic Catering & Logistics remains committed to empowering employees to thrive both personally and professionally.
